Suspension Clamps are usually constructed of high-strength steel and are either galvanized or aluminum-coated to prevent corrosion. They can be used with different types and sizes of power and ground wires and need to be adjusted for the diameter and tension of the wires during installation. 

The general design of a Suspension Clamp consists of two main parts: a wire clamp and a suspension clamp. The wire clamp is a part used to fix the power wire, usually including a U-shaped jaw and a pressure plate, which are used to clamp the wire and generate a fixing force. 

The suspension clip is used to connect the wire clip and the suspension rope of the power line, and it usually includes a ring and a curved jaw. 

The suspension clamps are designed to hang LV-ABC lines with insulated neutral messengers. The neutral messenger is fixed by an adjustable grip device. A movable link allows longitudinal and transversal movement of the clamp body.
